🧠Mental health is a vital part of our overall well-being. It enables us to think clearly, build relationships, perform effectively at work, and enjoy life.
At CERN, support is available to help you care for your mental well-being. The Medical Service offers a range of mental health resources to members of the personnel (MPE and MPA), including access to two on-site psychologists. https://hse.cern/content/mental-health-support
The CHIS covers care related to mental health for its members. This includes reimbursement for sessions with a psychologist or psychotherapist, provided the treatment is prescribed by a medical doctor and complies with the General Rule. The provider must be certified in the country in which they practice:
• In Switzerland, this means being on the Register of Psychology Professions.
• In France, this means being registered with the ARS and having an ADELI number.
